Crafts at Home: Good Deed Bead Bracelets PLUS a Craft Hop for additional Crafts at Home!

Welcome to our Craft Blog Hop! We’re excited to share a few projects with you today on our hop that – depending on what you have on hand – can be made from materials you have at home.

Before we get started, I’d like to introduce you to everyone sharing a creative project on today’s hop:

– Jen Frost  at Faith and Fabric: Quilt a Double Sided Lent/Easter Table Runner
– Amy Millsap at Created Beloved: Make a “Let’s Chew on This” Jar

– Elaine Luther of Elaine Luther Art: Make Origami Window Stars
– Lisa Ruble of Love to Color My World: Make Woven Mini Rugs Using Fabric Scraps

  Origami Window Stars

And here’s my idea: Make these easy Good Deed Bead Bracelets with pony beads and pipe cleaners!

The 10 beads slide and stay in place as prayers are recited or sacrifices or good deeds are done!

Trim the ends (and fold them over once to bury sharp wire ends) after you wrap it around your wrist.

If you don’t have pipe cleaners on hand, you can use cord or laces to thread the beads to slide and stay in place using this Good Deed Bead Bracelet tutorial

We have special suede cord to make our custom Good Deed Bead Bracelets, now available in our Catholic Grab Bags, available to ship, as long as the postal service keeps working!
